Welcome to the CARISMA website
The Caribbean Social Marketing Programme for HIV Prevention and the promotion of Reproductive Health – known as CARISMA – has been working in the Caribbean since 2005, supporting Social Marketing Organisations to prevent HIV and AIDS through social marketing, behaviour change and by growing the total condom market. Now in its second phase, the CARISMA programme expanded its focus to include family planning, anti-stigma and discrimination campaigns as well as the general promotion of sexual health and reproductive rights.
On this website you will find:
- A rich library of social marketing resources and HIV and sexual health studies from the region including reports, research studies and best practice reviews
- Details of social marketing projects currently taking place across the Caribbean under the CARISMA programme
- Examples of the innovative behaviour change communications materials including TV adverts, posters and radio shows used across the region
CARISMA is a PANCAP development project funded by the German Government, represented by the Federal Ministry of Financial Cooperation and Development (BMZ), through KfW. The management of the CARISMA programme has been delegated to Options Consultancy Services Ltd (Options), who serves as the Regional Consultant.
