CARISMA PROJECT OBJECTIVES

  Increase condom use amongst those who are most at risk of transmitting and being infected with the virus
  Carry out research that expands knowledge of risky behaviors and improves targeting of social marketing and behavior change communications
  Measure results of social marketing and HIV & AIDS prevention efforts
  Share lessons learned with those who can build on these experiences
  Build the total condom market by helping to integrate public, for-profit and non-profit efforts
     
     
  CARISMA is a development programme of CARICOM - co-financed by the Federal Republic of Germany through the German Development Bank (KfW) and the Canadian Development Agency (CIDA). 
 
  THE TOTAL MARKET APPROACH TO SOCIAL MARKETING IN THE CARIBBEAN
  CARISMA is working to integrate the efforts of all actors in the social marketing arena, including the public, non-profit, and for-profit sectors to ensure the entire population has access to affordable, high-quality health care products and health information.
