CARISMA PROJECT OBJECTIVES

  Increase condom use amongst those who are most at risk of transmitting and being infected with the virus
  Carry out research that expands knowledge of risky behaviors and improves targeting of social marketing and behavior change communications
  Measure results of social marketing and HIV & AIDS prevention efforts
  Share lessons learned with those who can build on these experiences
  Build the total condom market by helping to integrate public, for-profit and non-profit efforts
     
     
  CARISMA is a development programme of CARICOM - co-financed by the Federal Republic of Germany through the German Development Bank (KfW) and the Canadian Development Agency (CIDA).

  CARISMA is working to integrate the efforts of all actors in the social marketing arena, including the public, non-profit, and for-profit sectors to ensure the entire population has access to affordable, high-quality health care products and health information.

Tender for a Social Marketing Organisation for Suriname

  On behalf of the German Development Bank (KfW) and PANCAP, Options is seeking to subcontract an SMO to implement a 39 month HIV and AIDS Prevention and Reproductive Health Promotion Programme in Suriname. Download the announcement and tender document. The total estimated ceiling amount established for this contract is approximately €800,000. It is assumed that this contract shall start on or about 1 October 2009 and will last for 3 years and 3 months with an end date of 31 December 2012. The deadline for submission of proposals is Friday 24 July 2009, 17:00 local time in London.
