PSI Eastern Caribbean, TRaC-M:Sex Workers in Dominica and Grenada, Men Who Have Sex With Men in St Lucia, St Vincent & the Grenadines and Trinidad & Tobago (2006)

In July and August 2006, the TRaC-M survey was conducted among sex workers in Dominica and Grenada, and among men who have sex with men in St Lucia, St Vincent & The Grenadines and Trinidad & Tobago. The purpose of the TRaC-M survey is to monitor condom use behavior, key output level indicators in the project’s logical framework and exposure to the intervention among these populations. The survey found that condom use is higher among men who have sex with men (MSM) with their male partners than among sex workers with their paying clients. MSM use condoms less frequently with their female partners.Sex workers use condoms less frequently with their non-paying partners. Most MSM have two or more sexual partners in the past 12 months and have had higher levels of exposure than sex workers.
